I had the opportunity to meet some of the professionals at Sparkle in two different situations. Both on the phone and in person, at the reception desk and in the dental office, all of them were very friendly and professional. The price they charge is commensurate with the excellent service they provide. Furthermore, the manager, Prachi, took an interest in the dental care of my two children and offered me a free checkup for both of them. Although I didn't take it at the time, it was very kind of her to do so. I recommend this place and will definitely be back.

I’ve just got home after having a very large filling replaced, I am a very nervous patient and I can truly say that Dr Priyanthan is the most gentle, highly skilled dentist I have ever been to. I didn’t even feel the anesthetic going in! Thank you so much Dr Priyanthan.

Lovely team, came across them in 2022 when I urgently needed to see someone as my retainer wire came undone. They were much more approachable than other places about fitting me in as I had not yet been to a dentist since moving to the UK. The reception team, dentists, and hygienists have all be really accommodating since. The hygienist Rosie (works on Thursdays), is really lovely and very experienced. So glad to find a good dental clinic in the area.

Sparkle is my usual dentist, but I turned up without an appointment as I was worried about something. The receptionist and dentist were very helpful and I managed to see the dentist and put my mind at rest. I am very grateful. On other visits I have always found everyone very professional, no complaints.

Absolutely over the moon with the service and treatment I received today at Sparkle. I had a check up with another dental practise earlier this morning and left in a bad mood as they wanted so much money from me and I felt uneasy from the get go. I was driving home and drove past Sparkle Dental Boutique and something told me to park up and go inside so I did. I was greeted with Prachi the receptionist who I straight away could feel had such great energy and she was so patient with me as I tried to explain my problems I had this morning and with my teeth. She managed to squeeze me in straight away with a hygienist and gave me some amazing advise as well as making me feel at ease. My hygienist today was Bozena who yet again had such great energy and was so lovely to me as she had patience to listen to my story but also wasn’t afraid to tell me where I was going wrong. Bozena you can tell has a lot of experience and she gave me some amazing advise along with a thorough clean which left me smiling and feeling so much better about myself. I’m booked in to see the dentist next week and to see Bozena again in 8 weeks and I couldn’t recommend Bozena enough, best hygienist I’ve had in years! Summary: you really feel welcomed here and the staff are absolutely amazing and so lovely and they do not rush you or try to take your money! This will be my dental practise for the foreseeable future! Thanks again Prachi & Boxena! Charlie

Dr Priya. Thank you so much. I'm really happy with the Root Canal treatment. Considering the NHS did the crown over 20 yrs ago, it must have been complicated. Thanks again :)

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a White Filling?

New technological advancements in dentistry enable white or natural tooth coloured fillings to be used in restoring decayed and broken teeth. Our fillings are made from composite or resin and are highly durable, strong and long lasting.

As an alternative to fillings, inlays and onlays can be used to restore your smile.

Inlays and onlays are made specially in a dental laboratory to repair a damaged tooth.

An inlay is small and within the biting surface of the tooth whereas an onlay will cover a larger area of the tooth. These restorations can be made from porcelain, gold or composite resin and are bonded to the damaged area of a tooth. Most patients nowadays choose to have a porcelain inlay or onlay as it is hard wearing, long lasting and can also be matched to the colour of your natural teeth.

If the tooth is damaged extensively, a crown may be needed to restore the tooth.

When Would I Need a White Filling?

You may need a white filling if you have:

Broken teeth
Decayed teeth
To repair unsightly, old or broken fillings
To replace mercury and amalgam fillings
Toothache
Tooth sensitivity
Gum recession

What is The Procedure?

We will make you feel comfortable and relaxed before, during and after this routine procedure, so there’s no need to delay.

White fillings are completed in one easy appointment. Firstly, we numb the area so that the procedure is comfortable. We then gently remove the portion of your tooth that has been damaged and then replace the missing tooth structure with a filling. We shine a bright blue light on the filling which will harden the filling making it very strong.

The filling is made of a shade of composite resin filling material so that once filled, it looks like your real tooth again. It’s simple!

What Are The Benefits of Treatment?

White fillings match the colour of your natural teeth, to give you a natural looking smile with great dental health and function. You can speak, bite, chew and eat as normal.

How Will I Feel After Treatment?

If you have had anaesthetic during your procedure, you may feel numb for a few hours. Once the numbness has worn off, you can speak, bite, chew and eat as normal.

How Much Will My Filling Cost?

We understand that price is an important consideration factor. Like any dental treatment, the cost of a filling is dependant on the size and type of white filling used and how long your treatment will take to complete.

When you come to see us for your first consultation, we will determine the most appropriate treatment for you and provide you with a treatment plan and cost.

Your fillings are guaranteed for one year.

To obtain an estimate for the total cost for your treatment, please call 020 8567 4344 for your consultation or email us.

What Are The Alternatives To The Treatment?

As an alternative to fillings, we use inlays and onlays to rejuvenate your smile. If the tooth is damaged extensively, a crown may be needed to restore the tooth.

Prevention is better than cure. Making changes to your diet and oral hygiene routine may be the best way to prevent the need for future fillings. We offer a range of general and cosmetic dental treatments, so you can be sure to get the best treatment to suit your needs.
