Both on the phone and in person, at the reception desk and in the dental office, all of them were very friendly and professional. The price they charge is commensurate with the excellent service they provide. Furthermore, the manager, Prachi, took an interest in the dental care of my two children and offered me a free checkup for both of them. Claire WNovember 28, 2024Lovely team, came across them in 2022 when I urgently needed to see someone as my retainer wire came undone. They were much more approachable than other places about fitting me in as I had not yet been to a dentist since moving to the UK. The reception team, dentists, and hygienists have all be really accommodating since. The hygienist Rosie (works on Thursdays), is really lovely and very experienced. I had a check up with another dental practise earlier this morning and left in a bad mood as they wanted so much money from me and I felt uneasy from the get go. I was driving home and drove past Sparkle Dental Boutique and something told me to park up and go inside so I did. I was greeted with Prachi the receptionist who I straight away could feel had such great energy and she was so patient with me as I tried to explain my problems I had this morning and with my teeth. She managed to squeeze me in straight away with a hygienist and gave me some amazing advise as well as making me feel at ease. My hygienist today was Bozena who yet again had such great energy and was so lovely to me as she had patience to listen to my story but also wasn’t afraid to tell me where I was going wrong. Bozena you can tell has a lot of experience and she gave me some amazing advise along with a thorough clean which left me smiling and feeling so much better about myself. I’m booked in to see the dentist next week and to see Bozena again in 8 weeks and I couldn’t recommend Bozena enough, best hygienist I’ve had in years! Summary: you really feel welcomed here and the staff are absolutely amazing and so lovely and they do not rush you or try to take your money! At your first appointment, we will take digital x-rays, photographs of your smile and models of your teeth in preparation for your fixed braces to be fitted.
At your second appointment, we will fit the braces. The treatment uses small brackets which are cemented to your teeth and are connected with a very thin metal wire. Fixed braces move your teeth into position gradually, leaving you with a confident smile.
Our team will see you every 4-6 weeks for approximately 20 minutes to adjust the forces needed to align your teeth and to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
Once your treatment is complete we will provide you with a retainer to ensure your teeth stay in position and you can enjoy your new smile for a lifetime.

Your speech may initially be affected. However, your speech will improve as you become accustomed to your braces.
Fixed braces are fitted on the front surface of your teeth and therefore cannot be removed for cleaning. It is therefore important that you brush well. We provide you with a complimentary orthodontic care kit with special interdental brushes to keep your teeth and brace clean.
Once your braces are fitted, you cannot eat certain foods as you may knock a bracket off your tooth which will mean an extra visit to the orthodontist.
In order to look after your teeth and braces, it is best to avoid:
- Eating toffees, boiled sweets, chewing gum, chocolates
- Fizzy drinks and fruit juices
- Eating hard foods, which may damage the braces such as crunchy apple and crusty bread
Treatment using fixed braces are as individual as you are. That’s why the duration of treatment will differ from one person to the next. Treatment time usually takes 6 – 24 months but will vary according to your individual treatment needs and how complex your case is.
Our Orthodontist will see you every 4- 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.
In addition, after completing your treatment, our Orthodontist will also see you for a further two complimentary appointments at six monthly intervals, to ensure all is well.
When you come to see us for your first consultation, we will determine the most appropriate braces treatment for you and provide you with a treatment plan and cost.
